The www viewer for the rss’d of us
This document is a work in progress, last updated December 20th, 2022
RSSDeck provides us its users with a powerful, cognitively ergonomic, visually pleasant way to access the web, both for consumption and production of information and content. As such it is a web usage platform.
RSSDeck is browser-first software that brightly conveys and separates information sources.
Retain autonomy, control privacy — even earn money.
RSSDeck improves asynchrous communication, avoiding the systemic drag on productivity that comes from working synchrously when that’s not optimal.
Assign tailored-per-role dashboards that integrate up-to-the-minute information from across the landscape.
RSSDeck was launched at https://rssdeck.com in private beta in 2022.
RSSDeck was founded by Adam S Khan AKA CmdrDecker, a long-time web developer with an interest in news design.
He founded his high school of newspaper The Goode Times fueled by excitement over Aldus PageMaker (1987–8), served as arts editor at The Chicago Maroon, the University of Chicago’s student newspaper, interned at The Jerusalem Report during the signing of the Oslo Accords, and worked as a news editor at The Jerusalem Post.
RSSDeck is produced by RSSDeck, Inc., a Delaware S Corporation established in 2022.
